Louis Herbert Bell Jr.

Louis Herbert Bell Jr., 66, of Providence Forge, Virginia, passed away on Monday, Sept. 26, 2022.

Louis retired from Ryder after working in trucking maintenance for 45 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, flying kites, listening to country music, and loved trips to the beach.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Herbert Bell Sr. and Hattie Gill Bell.

Left to cherish Louis’ memories are his wife of 43 years, Barbara Glasheen Bell; sister, Barbara Bell Wilson; nephew, William Wirt Wilson Jr. (Marie); niece, Mary Ellen Cox (Richard); great-nephew, Thomas Ray Cox; great-niece, Carly Ellen Cox; and many extended family members and friends.

The family received friends on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, from 10-11 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 15810 Liberty Church Road, Lanexa, Virginia 23089. A service followed immediately at 11 a.m., with interment being held at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Virginia 23150.
