Marion Mikulas Hula

Marion Mikulas Hula, 80, of Riverside Farm, Charles City, passed away Dec. 30, 2012 on what would have been her and Adolph’s 63rd wedding anniversary.

Marion was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. and at 17 came to Riverside Farm as a young bride to become a farmer’s wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Frank Hula, who died in February 2011; her parents, Martin and Helen Mikulas, and a sister, Helen Hunkele (and Tom).

She is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Hula Ricks and her husband, Bill; two sons, Frank Adolph Hula and wife, Margie, and Mickey Mikulas Hula and his wife, Jackie; four grandsons, Barry Ricks (Lisa), Bart Ricks (Tania), Frank Wells Hula and John Collin Hula; two granddaughters, Jennifer Mary Hula and Cary Lucille Hula; four great-grandchildren, Brandon Michael Ricks, Lori Marie Ricks, Brenten Gage Ricks and Brylea Madison Ricks; and her two brothers Martin Mikulas Jr. (Joan Lee) and John Mikulas (Janet).

Services will be private. Vincent Funeral Home, Providence Forge, is handling the arrangements.
