Mary Elizabeth Dodson Baber

Mary Elizabeth Dodson Baber, 92, of New Kent, was called to with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 30, 2018.

Mary was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and was always active in church wherever she lived. She truly loved being with and taking care of her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Baber Sr.; and her son, Carl Baber Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Esther Smith (Charles); daughter-in-law, Pat Barber; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 1, at Bethany Christian Church, 2402 Bethany Church Road, Bumpass, VA 23024. Vincent Funeral Home, Providence Forge, handled arrangements. Tributes can be posted at www.vincentfh.com.
