Michael Edward Minter

Michael Edward Minter, 75, of Quinton, Virginia, passed away on March 7, 2023.

He was a proud Navy Veteran who served on the U.S.S. Tinosa (submarine service) during the Cold War.

Michael graduated from the University of Richmond in 1970. He was a member of Providence Forge Presbyterian Church and a volunteer for the Providence Forge Rescue Squad for many years.

Michael retired from faithful service in social work for the New Kent/Charles City area. He was an avid hunter, especially of turkey and dear. He was loved by all who knew him and never met a stranger.

Michael is survived by his two sons, Christopher (Casey) and Carter; grandsons, Chase and Camden; brother, William (Brenda); aunt, Carolyn Boxley (Bob); and his beloved special friend, Marianne Powell.

A service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 111 a.m., at Providence Forge Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, pleased make donations to Providence Forge Presbyterian Church.
