Michael Ray Carpenter

Michael Ray Carpenter, 73, formerly of Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, Mar. 1, 2018, after losing his battle with lung cancer.

Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying, and anything that was a new adventure for him.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Carpenter; daughter, Misti Carpenter; son, Timothy Carpenter (Ginger); stepsons, Michael Hardwick and Gene Hardwicke (Ida); brother, Melvin Carpenter (Jacque); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Mar. 10, 2018, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA, 23140.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
