Moade T. Helms

Moade T. Helms, 75, of New Kent, VA, passed away November 24, 2013. He was a hard working family man who never tired of looking after his family.

Moade was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty; and a daughter, Kathy Bryan Helms. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Shrader (Daniel), Donna Dowdy (Stuart); four sons, Randall Aplin (Diane), Ronnie Aplin (Cathy), Gary Helms (Debbie), Dwayne Helms (Brenda); 22 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Myrle, Linda, Nell, Amy and Joann.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, November 27, at Vincent Funeral Home, Providence Forge, with burial following in Washington Memorial Park.
