Natchie Edwin Adkins

Natchie Edwin Adkins, of New Kent, passed away on Sept. 7, 2022, following a two-year battle with cancer, with his wife Lisa Smith by his side.

Natchie was born on Dec. 4, 1969, in West Virginia, to Sandra Faye Whittington Adkins and to the late James Moses Adkins.

In addition to his father, Natchie was preceded in death by his brother, James Darren Adkins.

His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Lisa C. Smith; mother, Sandra Faye Whittington Adkins of Scott Depot, West Virginia; niece, Chelsey Terry of Scott Depot, West Virginia; siblings, Forrest Allen Adkins (Tammy), Jonel Pullen (Terry), and Libby Johnson (Greg); a large extended family and a great number of friends. He also leaves behind his beloved cats, Belle and Cricket.

In honoring Natchie’s wishes, his body has been donated for scientific research and there will be no funeral services held.
