Joshua Richard Perry, 16, passed away September 13, 2015. He will always be remembered as a charismatic guy with sparkling green eyes and an infectious smile, who was ambitious, compassionate, and fiercely protective of his mom and sister, Lexi. Although Josh’s life was cut short, he lived it fully and without fear. Life with him was always spontaneous and full of surprises. Larry Southall

Larry Southall lost a long battle with cancer on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015. The day prior to his passing, he had celebrated his 86th birthday. When reminded of his age, he used one of his favorite lines; “It’s not a record, but it is a damn good average!” He leaves behind his true love, Jean, and had recently celebrated their 64th anniversary a few days ago. Milton Stanley Clarke, 101, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015. Milton served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force and was the co-owner of Protex Weatherstrip Company. Milton was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mattie A. Bowery Clarke; his parents, William and Florence Clarke; and nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, M. She was passionate about educating children which led to her being a schoolteacher at Battlefield Elementary as well as various local preschools. Dot attended many churches during her life, but spent a great deal of time being active in Providence United Methodist Church.
