Raymond Conley

Raymond Conley, 82, of New Kent, Virginia, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, at Walter Reed Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gloucester.

Raymond was born on June 12, 1943, to the late Cevard and Cora (Smith) Conley. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Langley Air Force Base Fire Department and worked as a barber.

Raymond was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was also very outgoing and loved to laugh.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Conley.

He is survived by his wife, Linda “Mickey” Conley; four children, Kathy Kennedy, Sandra Jenkins (Tom), Angela Boyd (Jay), and Steven Blevins; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

The family received friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 25, 11-11:45 a.m. A funeral service followed at noon, which was officiated by Pastor Ross Davis.

Interment will be held on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, 2 p.m. at Albert G. Horton Jr. Veterans Cemetery, with military honors. Services are under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home.
