Robyn Taylor Arrington

Robyn Taylor Arrington, 70, of New Kent, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 24, 2022, surrounded by her family after a long battle with breast cancer.

Robyn was born on Dec. 23, 1952 and grew up in Chesterfield County. She worked at Phillip Morris as an executive secretary, retiring after 34 years of service.

Robyn enjoyed attending special teas with her family and friends. She also loved traveling, was an avid reader, and enjoyed watching old movies. Robyn had such a big heart for all living things, especially children and animals. What she loved most of all was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Robyn is preceded in death by her son, Justin Franklin Arrington; and her parents, Frank Henry and Estelle Grant Taylor.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Runnie Arrington; a daughter, Megan Arrington; a sister, Sharon Taylor Roberts; a brother, Mark Christopher Taylor (Patty); two grandchildren, Taylor Allen and Emmaline Lawson; nephew, Dexter Arrington, nieces, Jennifer Willis, Heather Everheart, Melissa Jackson, and Abigail Wilson; and many cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 30, at Vincent Funeral Home, Providence Forge, Virginia. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 31, at Tsena Commocko Baptist Church, Providence Forge, Virginia. Interment will take place in Signal Hill Cemetery, Hanover, Virginia.
