Roy E. Trent

Roy E. Trent, 79, of New Kent, VA, passed away January 10, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his son, Marvin Lee Trent; a brother, Richard “Jack” Trent; and a sister, Nancy Trent Johnson.

Roy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sarah Trent; two daughters, Vicki Trent Whitman (Ernest, Jr.) and Lori Trent Lewis (Herbert, Jr.); a brother, Edwin “Ray” Trent; four grandchildren, H. Bruce Heath, Jr., Trent Ryan Heath, Victoria “Tori” Whitman and Ernest “Trace” Whitman, III.

A graveside service was held on Friday, Jan. 13, 12 p.m. at Pamunkey United Methodist Church Cemetery, 15700 Pamunkey Church Road, Lanexa, VA 23089. Vincent Funeral Home West Point Chapel handled the arrangements.
