Samuel Irvin Charity Jr.

Samuel “Scootie Red” Irvin Charity Jr., 70, of Charles City, Virginia, completed his job here on earth on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gwendolyn Charity; two daughters, Arese Stewart and Lenora Charity; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Ethan Charity; three sisters, Colleen Hall, Evelyn Adkins, and Dawn Cotman; other siblings and family members, Oliver Walter, Tracy Jones, Karen White, Jamie Coleman, and Rodney Coleman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
