Sandra C. Bowers

Sandra C. “Sandy” Bowers, 84, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, passed away as a result of COVID-19 on Nov. 19, 2020.

Sandy retired from Wheat First Securities (Wells Fargo). She was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), enjoyed boating, reading, and loving and caring for many dogs over the years.

Sandy was predeceased in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Hill; husband, Robert W. “Bill” Bowers Jr.; and son, Joseph “Rocky” Clemmons.
She is survived by her stepchildren, Robert Bowers III (wife, Vickie), and Linda Smith (husband, Mike); two grandsons, Chris Clemmons of Amelia and Rick Clemmons of Chesterfield; granddaughter, Lindsey Clemmons of League City, Texas; as well as several great-grandchildren.

Interment will be at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia and will be private.
