Timothy Parsley

Timothy Parsley, 63, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Tim was born on May 17, 1962 in New Kent, Virginia, to Paul and Ruby Parsley. Known for his sense of humor, ability to build or fix anything, and love for his family, Tim was a simple and hardworking man who always made sure his family was taken care of.
Tim retired from New Kent County Public Schools where he worked in the maintenance department for 28 years. If you ever passed through the intersection of Route 249 and Egypt Road around school drop-off or pick-up time, there’s a good chance you saw him out there directing traffic. Outside of work, he loved tending to his yard, fishing, listening to and singing country music, playing jokes on his family and friends, and playing corn hole with a Miller Lite in hand. But more than anything, he cherished time spent with his family.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Paul H. Parsley.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Parsley; his wife, Crystal Parsley; daughters, Heather Snow (Justin), Cierra Blakenship (Michael) and Caitlyn Turner (James); grandchildren, Owen Lacks, Hunter Blankenship, Charlie Turner, and Dawson Turner; siblings, Paul Parsley Jr. (Kristin), Vicki Bowman (Gilbert), Sandra Rice (Leo), and Tina Mason (Terry); along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2 p.m., at Quinto Community Center. All who knew and loved Tim are welcome to attend and share in honoring his life.
In lieu of flowers, please take a moment to share a memory of Tim with the family or keep him in your thoughts.
