Trojan teams 5th in Bay Rivers track

Both New Kent’s boys and girls track teams placed fifth overall in the Bay Rivers District track meet held May 13 at York.

The boys recorded New Kent’s lone event win of the day, taking the 4×400 meter relay in 3:27.44. The Trojans scored 52.5 points. Lafayette won with 146.5.

The Lady Trojans, meanwhile, scored 57.5 points. Lafayette also won the girls’ portion with 94.5.
