Freedom Martial Arts win four titles at state AAU competition

Freedom Martial Arts, based out of Quinton in western New Kent County, recently achieved success at the Virginia AAU State Tournament on May 9 in Fredericksburg.

Led by Master John Altizer, Freedom Martial Arts accumulated four first place titles at the event, with winners advancing to the 2015 AAU Junior Olympics in Virginia Beach this upcoming August. Winners were John Michael Jingluski (sparring), Zach Wiseman (sparring and forms), Dylan Watson (forms), and Sierra Altizer (forms). Olivia Altizer and Nicholas Cottrell also qualified for the Junior Olympics in form and sparring, finishing in the top echelon of their respective groups.

Freedom Martial Arts are scheduled for the Junior Olympics appearance Aug. 1-2.
