2016 State Champions

Mackenzie Harper (left) and Madison Shumacher (right), accompanied by coach Dayna Mullins (center), are part of New Kent Gymnastics Center’s state championship team this year. The group won three all-around state titles and 12 individual first place championships. The team members of Melissa Spangler, Sydney Greggs, Ellie Gray, Mackenzie Harper, Hannah Sachs, Grace Chisenhall, Madison Shumacher, and Mikayla Vanhoose combined for more than 100 top ten finishes, including Vanhoose who completed an undefeated season in the all-around competition.
