‘The Warriors Way’

The Charles City Warriors 10U basketball team emerged as champions after their 39-36 win over the Fort Lee Lakers during the Mar. 19 championship game. The team overcame adversity throughout the season and won a two-day tournament to take home the title. Team members are Va’Nyah Otey, Julian LaPastora, Terrell Crawley, Alana Justice, Cash Jones, Nyema Cotman, Ny’Hakiyah Cotman, Kaylen Cotman, Taylor Bey, Shane Jones, and Jamon Brown. The Warriors are coached by Racene Otey and assisted by VaShaun Otey Sr. and Timothy Justice.
