Virginia Gems win national championship

The Virginia Gems, based out of New Kent Gymnastics Center, completed their fifth season with the Senior team winning first place and the Youth team finishing third at the U.S National Championships. All of the Gem teams finished in the top ten at the meet, with the three Level 1 teams winning first place in “The One” competition. In total, the team accumulated five national titles, four Grand Champion titles, four paid bids, and recognition for high scores this season.
