National Signing Day at New Kent High School
Five New Kent Trojans inked commitments as part of National Signing Day on Feb. 6. The event highlights student-athletes who are making their collegiate choices to earn their education and continue in their sport at a higher level. Below, New Kent swimming and diving standout Lexi Mills will become a Division I athlete after signing her letter of intent to attend the University of Utah.
New Kent golfer Robb Kinder will be looking for several eagles and birdies in nearby Newport News as he makes his commitment to Christopher Newport University.
New Kent long distance runner Jacquelin Clardy-Josephs makes her commitment to Randolph’s cross-country and track and field teams.
Dean Powell will be hitting the gridiron this fall in football at Austin Peay University in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Lady Trojan Taylor Goode will be swinging for the fences this fall in softball after committing to Patrick Henry Community College.
