Former New Kent swimmer helps James Madison University to conference championship

Julianna Jones, a 2017 graduate of New Kent High School, recently helped James Madison University’s swimming team win the Colonial Athletic Association’s Swimming and Diving championship.

Jones earned a first-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle and earned a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle. Among other accomplishments include Jones breaking three school records in the 500-yard, 1000-yard, and 1,650-yard freestyle.
