Curry qualifies for AAU cross-country championship

Jayden Curry, a New Kent resident, has qualified for the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) National Cross-Country Championship meet in December in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Curry ran a tie of 15:45 in the boys’ 13U age division at the state meet in Portsmouth, winning the event. This is the second consecutive year he has qualified for the event.
