Curry siblings total 10 medals at Virginia Commonwealth Games
New Kent siblings Jayden and Lauren Curry garnered 10 medals at the Virginia Commonwealth Games held on Dec. 22 at Liberty University.
Jayden Curry won the high jump, long jump, and 60-meter hurdles in the boys’ 13-14 age division. He also finished second in the 800-meter run and third in the one-mile run.
Lauren Curry garnered four first-place finishes at the games. She won the high jump, 60-meter hurdles, 400-meter run, and 800-meter run in the girls’ 11-12 years old age group. She also earned a second-place finish in the long jump.
