Jones named CAA swimmer of the week

Julianna Jones, a 2017 graduate of New Kent High School and current junior at James Madison University, was named at the Colonial Athletic Association’s (CAA) women’s swimmer of the meet for the week of Feb. 4.

Jones earned the honor by winning the 1,000-meter freestyle in a time of 10:09.24 at Marshall University. Her time in the event is the fastest in the conference by more than five seconds.
