Serving up academic achievements

New Kent High School’s volleyball team is the recipient of the 2020 USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award. The team sustained a grade-point average of 3.44 for the year and was only one out of 22 schools in Virginia to receive the award. The team also was one of only 1,329 high schools in the nation to receive this award that is offered to more than 16,500 eligible institutions.
