Two NK hoopers named to Region 3A second team

Two New Kent High School boys’ basketball players were selected to the 3A Region A second team.

Logan Frederick, a junior forward who averaged 13 points per game, and Calvin York, a junior guard who averaged 12 points per game, were named for the athletic accolades. Junior guard Jack Swynford, who averaged 12 points a game, was recognized as an Honorable Mention selection.
