New Kent teenager places at national indoor track meet

A New Kent teenager placed in several categories during the AAU National Indoor Track and Field meet held Mar. 12-14 in Virginia Beach.

Lauren Curry earned second place finishes in the girls’ 13-year-old high jump (4’8”), and triple jump (27’0”). She also placed third in the girls’ shot put competition (29’0”).
