Jamestown remains undefeated as Lady Trojans’ soccer team falls 5-0

New Kent’s Lady Trojans soccer team could not stop an offensive attack by the visiting Jamestown Lady Eagles from finding the back of the net during the June 2 Bay Rivers District contest.

Despite a valiant effort, the hosting Lady Trojans fell 5-0 to an undefeated Lady Eagles team, dropping the hosts record to 2-6.

Jamestown scored two early goals before the host’s defense was able to slow them down. After holding the Lady Eagles scoreless for the remainder of regulation in the first half, a score by Jamestown’s Tatum Beatty during stoppage time provided the visitors a 3-0 advantage heading into the break. The visitors tacked on two additional goals for insurance in claiming the victory.
