Lady Trojans’ tennis defeats Lafayette in opening round of regional tournament

New Kent’s Lady Trojans girls’ tennis team defeated Bay Rivers District rival Lafayette in the quarterfinals of the Group 3A Region A tournament Tuesday afternoon. The team is scheduled to host York on Thursday.
