English accounts for lone point for Panthers at Charles City Invitational

Ashton English emerged as the top performer for the Panthers at their annual Charles City Invitational held Saturday.

English was the only scorer for the Panthers, notching a point with an eighth-place finish in the boys’ shot with a toss of 37’5”.

Charles City’s boys’ team finished in 22nd place out of 28 teams that participated in the invitational. Charles City’s girls did not score at the event. Maggie Walker’s girls’ and boys’ team won the meet, respectively.
