Trojan teams finish third at home Bay Rivers meet; Lamprecht, Ashley go one-two on boys’ side

New Kent High School’s Isaac Lamprecht and Will Ashley finished first and second, respectively, as they paced the Trojans’ cross-country team to a third-place finish during the Oct. 11 home meet.
Lamprecht clocked a time of 16:52, easily capturing the race. Ashley had no issues grabbing the silver spot, running a time of 17:29 over the course. Other scorers for the Trojans were Logan Rooks (19th- 20:36), Ethan Hansen (22nd- 20:49), and Drezden Davis (23rd- 20:51).
Grafton High School took the team title in the race, with Jamestown finishing second.
On the girls’ side, Lorelai Mooradian paced the Lady Trojans with a time of 24:58, finishing 11th overall and guiding the hosts to a third-place finish.
Other scorers for the hosts were Adrea Dallaire (13th- 25:15), Mia Gill (19th- 28:14), Libby Noll (21st- 31:49), and Hannah Shin (22nd- 32:33).
