New Kent wrestling sweeps opponents in home quad meet

New Kent High School’s wrestling team cruised to a sweep of opponents during the Dec. 6 home quad meet.

New Kent defeated Bay Rivers District rival Warhill 72-12 for the first win. The team followed that up by topping Norfolk Academy 66-15, before concluding the competition with a 60-18 victory over Varina.
