New Kent Trojans boys’ swim team split at Jan. 10 competition

New Kent’s girls’ and boys’ swim teams participated in a Jan. 10 swim meet against Bay Rivers District opponents.

On the boys’ side, New Kent defeated Bruton 60-33 in competition. The team was edged by Tabb 47-45 in the other dual competition.

On the girls’ side, the Lady Trojans were bested by Tabb 77-17 and also by Bruton 64-30.
