Charles City’s Brown, Smith earn Tidewater District First Team honors in girls’ hoops

Three Charles City Lady Panthers’ basketball players have garnered all-district honors.

Senior Nyla Brown and sophomore Jaela Smith were named to the Tidewater District’s First Team. Sophomore Teonna Bey received a nod as a member of the Tidewater District’s Second Team.

On the boys’ side, two Charles City senior players received all-district accolades.

Guard Jonlei Coles and forward Taylor Bey were recognized as members of the Tidewater District’s Second Team.
