American Promise wins Virginia Derby

American Promise (left) won the Virginia Derby by nearly eighth lengths on Saturday, Mar. 15. Jockeyed by Nik Juarez, the horse ran a track record time of 1:46.41 in front of a sell-out crowd, capturing an automatic berth into the Kentucky Derby.
