Charles City’s Robert Dobson won the boys’ 200-meter dash and helped the 4×100 meter relay team conquer that event as the Panthers finished fifth at an Apr. 26 home meet against nine other schools. Dobson ran a career best 23.38 to win the 200-meter dash. After five consecutive losses, New Kent’s boys’ soccer team looked to return to the win column in Monday night’s matchup against the invading Jamestown Eagles. Unfortunately, the Eagles flew into New Kent and dominated the hosts 7-0. Jamestown maintained the advantage from the start, not allowing the Trojans to gain momentum. Eagle forward A.J. The offense assisted the pitcher’s effort, pushing across three runs for the 3-0 victory. The story of the day belonged to Wiggins who commanded the pitcher’s mound.
