Hats for Haley

George Watkins Elementary School SCA sponsored “Hats for Haley” on Jan. 25 in memory of Haley Moore (above), a student at the school who passed away in June 2012 from an asthma attack. Students and faculty donated $1 or more to wear a hat of their choice for the day and raised over $500. Thanks to the generosity of many, the SCA will be able to make a $500 donation to the American Asthma Foundation on behalf of George Watkins Elementary School in memory of Haley. Amy Moore, Haley’s mother, is very appreciative of the efforts made by the SCA and George Watkins Elementary School.
