All aboard at the New Kent County Fair

Not even on-and-off rain could stop kids and parents from enjoying a train ride (above) during New Kent County’s Fair held Saturday at New Kent Middle School. The fair returned as a one-day event after a two-year hiatus, bringing back inflatable rides, crafts, exhibits, information booths, and food for all. Below, Patti Gulick’s artwork was named “Best in Show” in the fine arts exhibits area, while at bottom, Kinsley Brodner’s follow through on a toss registers a speed of 22 miles per hour at the baseball pitching inflatable game.
