NKCDC announces scholarship recipients

The New Kent Community Development Corporation (NKCDC) has announced its 2023 scholarship recipients.

Maia Cook has been awarded the NKCDC academic scholarship in the amount of $250. The scholarship is presented to a student pursuing a business degree and excels academically.

The $1,000 Eugene R. Williams Scholarship was presented to Kiersten Otey. The award is presented to a student who has high academic achievement, participates in extra-curricular activities, community involvement, and requires an essay.
