Longtime Bottoms Bridge Tire business owner Chartier retires

Dennis Chartier, founder of Bottoms Bridge Tire and Auto Care, has retired at the age of 78.

Stating that “It’s just the right time,” Chartier established the business in 1999. He enjoyed waiting on customers and had many sayings and mottos for the business. He often said “It’s not what Bottoms Bridge Tire and Auto can do for you! It’s what you can do for Bottoms Bridge Tire and Auto.”

Chartier said he will miss the friendships, which will be the hardest part of them all. He thanks the local community and plans to reside in his home in Hampton.

The business is now under new ownership but will have the same employees and continue to serve the community according to Chartier.
