Excelling at National Elementary School BETA Convention

New Kent Elementary School’s Junior BETA Club participated in the National Elementary BETA Convention in Savannah, Georgia. Above, the school’s engineering team of Grady Fleischman, Grant Evans, Adam Abrahim, Grady VanDyke, and Colton Simmons placed second in their division by creating a zipline design. Other winners are (pictured below) Lucas Gould (4th-Fifth Grade Scienece), Colton Simmons (7th-Fifth Grade Social Studies), Brynley Hochman (6th- Creative Writing), Alyiah Luntzer (1st- 3-D Design), Harper Hall (7th- 2-D Design), Grant Evans (5th- Apparel Design), and Jackson Bajsert (2nd-Mixed Media).
