72nd Chickahominy Fall Festival and Pow-Wow

The Tribal Honor Guard consisting of Native Americans who served our country (above) enter into the arena as part of the 72nd Chickahominy Indian Tribe Fall Festival and Pow-Wow held Sept. 28-29 in Charles City. The annual event serves as a community outreach to show the public cultures and traditions conducted by the Chickahominy Tribe, providing information and historical background on their impact not only to the local community, but to the nation as well. Below, the Chickahominy Tribe’s Royal Court is announced with (l to r) Olivia Adkins named as Miss Chickahominy, McKinley Johnson as Junior Miss Chickahominy, and Jenna Rayne Adkins as Little Miss Chickahominy.
