Local students recognized for academic honors at James Madison University
Several local students were recognized for their academic accolades as part of honors received from James Madison University for the Fall 2024 semester.
Hunter Meadows and Clara Fernandez, both of Lanexa, and Brianna Bartlett and Jacob Snawder, both of Quinton, were named to the President’s List for the semester. To be named to the list, a student must take at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a grade-point average of 3.9 or higher.
Several others were recognized for making the Dean’s List for the Fall 2024 semester. Students earn this recognition by taking at least 12 credit hours and earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
Locals recognized for this honor are Kendall Hicks of Lanexa, Christian Jones and Norah Murray, both of New Kent, Miranda Copland, Kyra Reed, Scarlett Tsipas, Ellie Gray, and Laura Clark, all of Providence Forge, and Allison Sours of Quinton.
