Charles City Lady Panthers place third out of 10 teams at home track meet

Charles City’s Lady Panthers put together an 80 point performance as it was good enough for a third place finish at their May 2 home meet.

Derequa Johnson emerged as the lone event winner for the hosts. Johnson captured the girls’ 300-meter hurdles title with a time of 53.10.

Lafeyette’s Lady Rams emerged as the meet winner, accumulating 105 points. Tabb’s Lady Tigers placed as runners-up by scoring 91 points. Charles City’s boys’ track and field team did not score at the meet.
