There are times when you may be surrounded with people that do not associate well with others. Maguire earns doctorate from Virginia Tech

Lindsay Maguire, a resident of Quinton, graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University’s Carilion School of Medicine on May 11 with a Doctor of Medicine Degree. Maguire received six Letters of Distinction in the areas of surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, most outstanding research project, clinical science integration, family medicine, and emergency medicine. She was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Maguire will practice at Orlando Health in Orlando Florida.

Joseph Miles, a Charles City High School Class of 2015 graduate, was among 400 graduates from Bridgewater College on May 4. Miles competed his studies at the school, earning his bachelor’s degree in psychology.
