Timothy Cotman Jr., a native of Charles City, has been named as Arlington Public School’s 2018 ‘Teacher of the Year.’ Cotman has been an educator for 22 years in Arlington and serves as the Minority Achievement Coordinator. He is also a member of the community Seeking Education Equality and Diversity (SEED) and helped create a LEGO robotics team. Cotman is the son of Timothy and Sammie Cotman of Charles City, and Olivia Brown of Highland Springs.
