Heritage Public Library is continuing to offer services despite their physical locations being closed. The library has ebooks, e-magazines, and e-audiobooks to checkout through RBDigital. New Kent Jr. Woman’s Club offering scholarships

New Kent Junior Women’s Club is offering two scholarships to New Kent High School graduates. To be eligible for the $1,250 scholarship, a high school senior must reside in New Kent County. The scholarship will be awarded on service, community service, and academic performance. Scholarships are due on May 15 and can be submitted by mail to New Kent Jr. Woman’s Club, P.O. JRF grants to assist non-profit organizations

The John Randolph Foundation (JRF), that serves local non-profit organizations in surrounding localities that include Charles City, has crated a Disaster Respond Fund to address needs of non-profit orgaizations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “The impact of this global emergency has not yet been fully realized, and we want to do all we can to support our community partners now and in the months to come,” said JRF Executive Director Lisa Sharpe.
