Two local residents earned degrees from Shenandoah University and were recognized during May 2022 Spring commencement ceremonies. Patricia Waters of Providence Forge earned a Doctorate in Non-Traditional Pharmacy. Michael Amadeo of Quinton graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education.
Cami DiSanto, a resident of Providence Forge, earned a spot on Drury University’s Dean’s List for the Spring 2022 semester. In order to be recognized for the achievement, a student must earn a grade-point average or 3.6 or higher while taking at least 12 or more semester hours.
Tamera and Christian Dore, of Lanexa, Virginia, are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Alexandra Victoria Dore, to Kellen Mitchell Shearin, son of Darlene and Donald Prevish of Toano, VA, and Willis and Laura Shearin, of Moyock, North Carolina. Two local students recent graduated from the College of William & Mary during the Spring 2022 commencement ceremonies. Rachel Sowder of Quinton was awarded a Juris Doctor for the completion of her studies. Victoria Morales of New Kent earned a Bachelor of Arts degree for completing her studies.
Five local students were recognized by the College of William & Mary for making the Dean’s List during the Spring 2022 semester. Joey Houska and Todd Reynolds, both of Lanexa, Abbey Coutu of Barhamsville, Ellie Ferrell of New Kent, and Aug Gilbride of Providence Forge, were recognized for their academic honors.
