Reason for running: “I want to lower taxes and improve our economy. I serve the citizens as a legislator and will fight for schools and safety by working to provide them with additional funding and economic development. Why people should vote for you: “I can be trusted as a citizen legislature. I am local and will be easily accessible to carry concerns of New Kent to the Virginia Assembly.”

Experience: Forty years at Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation in various positions, provided administrative, technical, and financial assistance to districts. Reason for Running: “I want to increase awareness of district’s outstanding programs and services.” Why should people vote for you: “I have familiarity of the districts and their role, I am knowledgeable of local, state, and federal conservation programs.”
Experience: Eleven years in the Virginia House of Delegates including two years representing the ninth district. Reason for running: “I want to make constituents and provide services. I have enjoyed representing, working with people to improve education. We’re a critical point where we have a lot of needs and I want to work and see us move in a positive direction.” Why people should vote for you: “I take seriously that the government is for the people. My job is to serve everyone and hear their voice. I feel like I have done a good job representing these people.”
