For most of the first half, New Kent’s Lady Trojans and York’s visiting Falcons slugged it out in basically an even soccer contest. New Kent’s Jacqueline Clardy-Josephs claimed the 3200-meter run as well as assisting her team to a third place finish in the girls’ 4×800 meter relay as the Lady Trojans finished sixth overall at the Charles City Invitational last Saturday. Clardy-Josephs ran a time of 13:16.83 to win the 3200-meter run.
